Johns Hopkins Medicine offers remote appointments for current and new patients in many primary care and specialty areas. A range of online services for patients and providers is available on your smartphone, computer or tablet.  
 
Many existing patients with a MyChart account or new patients now have the option to participate in a live-video appointment, called a video visit, with a Johns Hopkins outpatient primary or specialty care provider. Professional world language or sign language interpreters are available to join a telemedicine video or phone visit.

Telemedicine at Johns Hopkins Medicine makes it possible for patients to talk in real time with some of the world’s leading practitioners through computers, smartphones or tablets.

Some patients use telemedicine at home, while some participate through community centers, care facilities, schools or emergency rooms equipped with telemedicine connections to Johns Hopkins doctors.

Virtual connections are secure and HIPAA compliant. Professional world language or sign language interpreters are available to join a telemedicine video or phone visit.
